- Identification of BGA Failure (Technical Paper)
The use of BGA packages allows higher density electronics with higher functionality in limited space. Non-destructive identification of failures in BGAs is complicated by the overall structure of the packages and mounting. DfR was able to identify the failure mode using X-ray Microscopy and Scanning Acoustic Microscopy.

- Tin Whiskers Assessment (Technical Paper)
During the European transition to Reduction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS), it will be increasingly difficult to ensure there are no pure tin products in the supply chain. The risk of tin whiskers in this situation is high, especially for high-reliability and long-life applications such as satellites, aircraft, and power distribution. DfR Solutions offers tin whisker risk assessments and mitigation plans tailored to specific applications.

- Vehicle Prognostics (Presentation)
DfR Solutions is working with industry partners to develop real-time prognostics for onboard vehicle health monitoring. This allows Just-in-Time Maintenance and Just-in-Time Logistics. When connected to wireless communications, it will allow the vehicle maintenance officer to query the entire fleet for maintenance needs, including material and scheduling.
