College Park, MD – (January 3, 2007) — Dr. Craig Hillman, an expert on strategic reliability solutions, failure analysis and lead free technology, will be the special guest speaker at MET Labs’ North American Regulatory Conference for Electronics Products, January 23 & 24, 2007. The conference will take place at the Novotel Bauhenia Shenzen in Shenzen, China.
Dr. Hillman is the CEO and managing partner of DfR Solutions, a leader in quality and reliability solutions for the electronics industry. His topics at the conference will include “Failure Analysis for Electronics,” and “Risk Minimization for Lead-Free Design in Telecommunication Products.”
Dr. Hillman has performed more than 500 failure analysis investigations, and has worked with the majority of the Fortune 200 companies that design or manufacture electronics. He has published over 40 papers in the areas of electronics quality and reliability, and has presented to more than 200 companies and organizations world-wide. Dr. Hillman’s degrees include a B.S. in metallurgical engineering and material and engineering and public policy from Carnegie Mellon, a Ph.D. in material science from the University of California – Santa Barbara, and a research fellowship from Cambridge University in England.
