Mr. McLeish will present the science-based approach of Physics of Failure (PoF), a method that can be used to make reliability predictions more accurate and effective as compared with the statistical approach defined in the current version of the handbook.
Mr. McLeish is both an electronic product design engineer and a certified reliability engineer (CRE) who has over 32 years of automotive and military electrical and electronics experience. He has a diverse technical background with experience in systems engineering, design and development, production, validation, and reliability and quality assurance of both components and embedded systems. Jim’s participation in this event demonstrates that the staff of DfR Solutions is widely recognized as a leading expert in Physics of Failure, among various other areas of advanced reliability science for electronics.
