DfR Solutions to Participate in GEIA APMC Meeting

College Park, MD  December 30, 2008,  – DfR Solutions is pleased to announce that James McLeish, CRE and Manager of the DfR Michigan office, has been invited to participate in the Government Electronics and Information Technology Association (GEIA) Avionics Process Management Committee (APMC) Meeting, which will be held on January 7 and 8, 2009 in Arlington, Virginia.  Mr. McLeish will be attending the meeting to discuss reliability efforts that can be applied to both Aerospace Qualified Electronic Components (AQEC) and Automotive Electronic Council (AEC) Component Qualification.

James McLeish is an electronic product design engineer and a certified reliability engineer (CRE) who has over 32 years of automotive and military electrical and electronics experience.  He has a diverse technical background with experience in systems engineering, design and development, production, validation, and reliability and quality assurance of both components and embedded systems.  Jim’s participation in this event demonstrates that the staff of DfR Solutions is widely recognized as a leading expert in Automotive Component Qualification and Physics of Failure, among various other areas of advanced reliability science for electronics.
