“This presentation focuses on specific failure analysis and reliability issues associated with Pb-free assemblies, particularly component temperature and moisture sensitivity, tin whiskers, and PCB degradation and solderability,” said Dr. McNulty.
Regarding his presentation, Dr. Randy Schueller added, “Most Pb-Free classes do a good job of introducing students to the myriad of Pb-Free issues and concerns that can potentially cause unreliable products.
